+

Channel 5 is our primary channel for broadcasting the Olympic Games. On Max, viewers can choose what they want to watch and when they want to watch it.

When and how will the advertiser be visible as a sponsor?

+

The advertiser will be seen in the sponsorship break along with the other advertisers who have purchased Olympic sponsorship.

How many total sponsor slots are there in the Olympics?

+

It depends on how many buy the different packages. A maximum of 2 sponsors in the same segment/industry applies to the Silver and Bronze packages.

When and in which sports/events will the advertiser be visible as a sponsor?

+

It is a mix of all sports and events depending on the type of sponsorship package the advertiser has purchased.

How are the sponsorship sequences designed?

+

WBD will use the RBS structure. Unlike our usual formats, an Olympic-themed manner will be produced around all logos to create a common thread and connection to the Olympic Games. The advertiser's films will be 5 seconds long.

How is the production of the sequences carried out?

+

WBD is responsible for the production of the films and sponsorship sequences. The material is submitted to WBD, which in turn manages the communication with the IOC.

What material can the advertiser display?

+

Packshots and logos.

What can be written in text and what can be communicated in voice-over (VO)?

+

The advertiser is allowed to use text and voice-over that align with BLM. All material must be approved by the IOC. An important rule is that it should be a product description and not sales-oriented or urging. It's important to keep in mind that the films are 5 seconds long, so they should be concise and to the point.

Will there be the same voice-over (VO) for all sponsors?

+

Yes, WBD will choose a male or female voice.

Can a non-TOP sponsor use active athletes in their spot and sponsorship films?

+

Yes, as long as the film/campaign has been running with WBD and/or other media platforms (SOME, Youtube, etc.) for at least 90 days before the start of the Olympic Games and the film is approved by the IOC.

What are the rules for alcohol advertisers?
